SAE Projects & FairSupervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) is an important part of the three circle model of Agriculture Education. Students with an SAE learn by doing with help from their agricultural teachers. Students will develop an SAE project based on one or more SAE categories:
Entrepreneurship
Own and operate an agricultural business, such as raising a market animal, pumpkin patch production and sales, a lawn care service. Placement Get a job or internship on a farm or ranch, at an agriculture-based business, or in a laboratory. Research and Experimentation Plan and conduct a scientific experiment with a base to help improve the agriculture industry. |
Fair Time is Fun Time!Forestville FFA members have the opportunity to show at two local fairs during the summer: Sonoma-Marin Fair and the Sonoma County fair. Raising livestock is a big responsibility for any student as well as their family. Please attend the mandatory student and parent information meeting November 28th, 2018 at 6:30pm in J5 for general information and requirements.
